The boys over at Fangoria
scooped a couple of pics from the newest in indie torture flicks, this one
called DEVIL’S GROVE, and judging by the pictures and the amount of blood
within them, DEVIL’S GROVE is looking pretty slick!
The film which is being directed by
Zoe Judd and was written by Rick Amburgey, is set at the
Denville Grove Amusement Park, where a group of high-school students shooting a
documentary about a gruesome multiple murder at the site in 1999 find history
bloodily repeating itself.
Fango also spoke with Michael Hein, who is producing the film. Hein had the
following to say about DEVIL’S GROVE: “It’s a
torture film in the mold of HOSTEL or SAW—without the gadgets,” Hein tells Fango.
“The movie is very bloody and brutal, and we’re sure the
hardcore indie horror fans will enjoy it.” Well,
I’m sold!
