A couple weeks ago, Amazon’s Prime Video released a teaser trailer for their upcoming series Wilderness, which has been described as a “twisted love story” and stars Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen (The Invisible Man). Wilderness is set to premiere on the Prime Video streaming service in just ten days, on September 15th, and today a full trailer for the show has arrived online. Check it out in the embed above!

Written and created by Marnie Dickens, Wilderness is based on a novel by B.E. Jones (pick up a copy HERE). The story centers on British couple Liv (Coleman) and Will (Jackson-Cohen) who seem to have it all: a rock-solid marriage; a glamorous new life in New York thousands of miles from their provincial hometown; and still young enough to feel that their whole lives are ahead of them. Until Liv learns about Will’s affair. Heartbreak is swiftly followed by another emotion: fury. Revenge is her only option, and when Will proposes a trip around America’s epic National Parks to give their relationship a fresh start, Liv knows just how to get it… Wilderness is a twisted love story, where a dream holiday and a supposedly “happily-ever-after” quickly turns into a living nightmare.

Coleman and Jackson-Cohen are joined in the cast by Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Eric Balfour (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Claire Rushbrook (Sherwood), Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange Is the New Black), Morgana Van Peebles (Superstition), Jonathan Keltz (Reign), Talia Balsam (Divorce), Crystal Balint (The Fall of the House of Usher), Natalie Sharp (The Flash), Geoff Gustafson (A Christmas Proposal), and Jake Foy (Designated Survivor).

So Yong Kim (Lovesong) directed and executive produced Wilderness. Dickens also executive produced the series, as did Elizabeth Kilgarriff.
