The Witcher spinoff Nightmare of the Wolf gets a new logo

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

For more "Witchmas" goodness, Netflix's The Witcher series' official Twitter account has just revealed the new logo for their upcoming Witcher anime spin-off film Nightmare of the Wolf (which I had completely forgotten they were still doing), that you can see for yourself below:

The animated movie will reportedly focus on the character of Vesemir, who will be a pivotal character in season 2 (to be played on the show by Killing Eve's Kim Bodnia). Here's the official character bio:

Vesemir is the mentor and a father figure for Geralt of Rivia. The story will explore his early years as a Witcher after the mysterious Deglan claims him through the Law of Surprise.

Meanwhile, there's no official release date for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf…or for season 2 for that matter…but we'll keep you updated once that information becomes available!

So what do you guys think? Looking forward to the spin-off, and if so, any other characters you like to see them focus on besides Geralt? Either way, sound off below!
