With so much happening during San Diego Comic-Con, it’s easy for some stories to slip through the cracks. Thankfully, that’s what Monday catch-up sessions are for. That said, we’re happy to share two new trailers for Prime Video‘s Reacher series, including Reacher Season 4 and the upcoming spinoff, Neagley. The new promos dropped during SDCC’s Reacher panel, alongside new cast reveals and details about both action-packed shows.
Reacher Season 4 packs a punch
Reacher Season 4 marks a shift from the small-town setting to the urban chaos of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The new batch of episodes adapts Gone Tomorrow, the 13th novel in Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series. It follows Reacher after a chance subway encounter with a distraught stranger that spirals into a citywide hunt.
The Reacher Season 4 trailer is set to Rush’s classic tune “Tom Sawyer” and features Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) and Tamara Green (Sydelle Noel) investigating a mysterious death as government agents and villains try to bury the truth. The new episodes bring all the hard hits, humor, and intrigue seen in previous seasons, and we’re excited to join the characters for another intense case.
New cast members joining Ritchson this season include Sydelle Noel, Chris Marquette, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson.
Reacher Season 4 premieres on August 12, 2026, with three episodes, followed by weekly releases through a September 16 finale.
Neagley gets a hard-hitting trailer
On the other end of the Reacher spectrum is the upcoming spinoff, Neagley, starring Maria Sten as the human wrecking ball Frances Neagley, a private investigator and former military protege of Reacher’s from the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. Joining Sten for the spinoff are Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole, with Ritchson popping in as a guest star.
The Neagley trailer shines a spotlight on Sten’s tough-as-nails character, who’s not taking any guff from the people she’s in charge of taking down. The spinoff has a similar tone to Reacher, with Neagley unafraid to get her hands dirty if it means saving the day.
Reacher Season 5 is in the works
Finally, Ritchson announced at Comic-Con that Reacher Season 5 is already on its way, with the show set to adapt Child’s 20th novel, Make Me.
I’ve been meaning to check Reacher out for years, and now might be the best time to get caught up. I love a solid, take-no-shit action hero who plays by their own rules, and the smattering of humor makes both shows look unserious in a way I could enjoy. Are you a Reacher fan?
