Paramount+ has dropped a new trailer for Tulsa King season 4, and things aren’t looking great for Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone). One by one, it appears that his various businesses — the casino, the dispensary, the distillery — are being taken over or shut down. But Dwight isn’t about to take that sitting down. “I’m not ready to fold,” he says in the trailer. “I’m going to get it all back.“
Tulsa King Season 4
The official description for the fourth season reads: “Dwight fights to legitimize his empire and protect his crew as corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss hit from every direction. However, every hard-won gain comes with even harder truths: about loyalty, leadership and the cost of ambition. Each move drags Dwight deeper into the street instincts he left behind in New York – turning Tulsa into a battleground and Dwight into the one threat no one can afford to underestimate.“
In addition to Stallone, the fourth season stars Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak, Neal McDonough, with Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany. Gretchen Mol also joins the cast as a series regular, playing Amanda Clark, a sharp political strategist deeply entrenched in local corruption.
The fourth season will premiere on Paramount+ on October 16.
Frisco King
In addition to the return of Tulsa King, fans are also looking forward to the release of the spin-off series starring Samuel L. Jackson.
After appearing in the last season of Tulsa King as former hitman Russell Lee Washington Jr., who ultimately defies an order to kill Dwight. The spinoff, titled Frisco King, will find Russell relocating to Frisco, Texas, to start his own criminal operation. Taylor Sheridan has written all eight episodes of the first season himself (where does he find the time?).
In addition to Jackson, the new series also stars Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann. Frisco King doesn’t have a release date yet, but, like its predecessor, it will stream on Paramount+.
