Five weeks ago we nailed your oculars with the first trailer for Michael Cuesta’s new thriller TELL TALE, starring Josh Lucas and Lena Headey. Now that you’ve had ample time to shoot some Visine and rock some dark shades, we’re back at it with a hard dozen new stills from the film!

Adapted from the Edgar Allan Poe short (The Tell-Tale Heart) by Dave Callaham (DOOM, THE EXPENDABLES), TELL-TALE follows:

Terry (Josh Lucas), a struggling single father, abandoned by his wife years earlier, who prides himself on taking good care of his young daughter. His life is finally looking up after he recently received a successful heart transplant, and he is even falling in love with a beautiful doctor (Lena Headey). But then the headaches start. And the visions. The new heart inside Terry seems to be beating to a horrifying drummer of its own. Haunted by its violent past, the heart begins to take hold of Terry, leading the young father on a frantic and harrowing search to find the donor’s killer before he meets a similar fate.

Nice! It’s like IDLE HANDS, if meat hooks were replaced by a ticker. And from the twisted musings of Poe? With Brian Cox rockin’ a foul crustache? You don’t know how down I am for this flick!

Seriously though, Brian Cox adds instant credibility to the cast, one that also includes Beatrice Miller, Jamie Harrold, Michael K. Williams, Pablo Schreiber, Tom Riis Farrell, Ulrich Thomsen, Dallas Roberts, Kara Lund and Cassabdre Fiering.

TELL-TALE hits DVD May 18th, PRE-ORDER THAT SHITE HERE if you’re so inclined!
