A demon stalks Radha Mitchell, Lin Shaye, and Henry Thomas in Dreamkatcher

Dreamkatcher Kerry Harris

Director Karry Harris's upcoming film DREAMKATCHER had been passing under my radar up to this point, but now a batch of images have arrived online to ensure that this is a project I'm going to be paying close attention to.

Starring Radha Mitchell, Lin Shaye, and Henry Thomas, DREAMKATCHER has the following synopsis:

In order to stop his bad dreams, a young boy steals a dreamcatcher from a mysterious neighbor forcing his family to rescue him from a nightmarish entity. Will the family bonds be strong enough to save him or will the demon drag all of them in a nightmare with no means of escape?

Harris crafted the story with Dan V. Shea, who wrote the screenplay. Deadline shared a synopsis that offered some more details when DREAMKATCHER went into production a few months ago. They revealed that the film follows

a Manhattan therapist (Mitchell) who travels upstate with her boyfriend (Thomas) and his orphaned son who is tormented by nightmares of his dead mother. When the husband is forced to return to the city, the therapist remains with the boy and they encounter a mysterious neighbor (Shaye) in the woods.

The cast also includes Finlay Wojtak-Hissong, Jules Wilcox, and Joseph Bishara.

Harris produced the film with Christian Taylor, Orian Williams, and Annie Stewart. Mitchell and Shaye served as executive producers, along with Clay Epstein and Gina Rugolo.

Our friends at Bloody Disgusting got their hands on some images from the film, and those can be seen above and below. One image seems to feature a pretty major SPOILER, so if you want to see that one CLICK HERE.

We'll keep you updated on DREAMKATCHER as more information is made available.
