Dreamkatcher trailer has evil spirits, bad dreams, and a creepy kid

A trailer has arrived online for DREAMKATCHER, a very interesting looking supernatural horror film that's coming to Digital and DVD on April 28th. The trailer is embedded above, so check it out and see what you think.

Directed by Karry Harris, this one stars Radha Mitchell, Lin Shaye, and Henry Thomas, and has a couple different synopses available. Here's one:

In order to stop his bad dreams, a young boy steals a dreamcatcher from a mysterious neighbor forcing his family to rescue him from a nightmarish entity. Will the family bonds be strong enough to save him or will the demon drag all of them in a nightmare with no means of escape?

The other synopsis says the story follows

a Manhattan therapist (Mitchell) who travels upstate with her boyfriend (Thomas) and his orphaned son who is tormented by nightmares of his dead mother. When the husband is forced to return to the city, the therapist remains with the boy and they encounter a mysterious neighbor (Shaye) in the woods.

Harris crafted the idea with Dan V. Shea, who then wrote the screenplay. Harris also produced the film with Christian Taylor, Orian Williams, and Annie Stewart. Mitchell and Shaye were executive producers, as were Clay Epstein and Gina Rugolo.

Finlay Wojtak-Hissong, Jules Wilcox, and Joseph Bishara are also in the cast.

DREAMKATCHER looks promising to me, I look forward to watching it in a couple months.
