A new plot tidbit for The Hangover Part III to commemorate the start of filming

We have been hearing lots of theories about the plot for THE HANGOVER PART III and most had to do with Zach Galifianakis being committed to a mental institution while the Wolfpack has to bust him out. We have a new plotline for the movie that does not rule out a trip to the loony bin.

The single line of new plot information comes courtesy of the Warner Bros. press release to commemorate the beginning of filming on the final chapter of THE HANGOVER trilogy. The plotline states: This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

So, that plot is very open and could incorporate any number of other plots, include an insane asylum. Could the guys be on a roadtrip and something goes awry? Maybe they are in a getaway from the police? Maybe the third film will recycle the jokes from the first movie verbatim just like PART II. Only time will tell.

THE HANGOVER PART III reunites director Todd Phillips and stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Gillian Vigman, Sasha Barrese, Jamie Chung, and John Goodman. It is set to open on May 24th, 2013.
