Aaron Paul to star in Zack Whedon’s Come and Find Me & new Hulu series

Breaking Bad and NEED FOR SPEED actor Aaron Paul is set to star in Zack Whedon's directorial debut COME AND FIND ME, according to Deadline. Whedon also wrote the 2012 Black List script, which "follows the character of David (Paul) who must track down his missing girlfriend after he realizes she’s not who she was pretending to be." Production on the thriller will begin next month in Vancouver.

Aaron Paul will also be heading back to the small screen in a new Hulu series. The Wrap is reporting Paul will star alongside Michelle Monaghan (True Detective, PIXELS) in The Way. The ten-episode series "examines a family at the center of a controversial movement struggling with relationships, marriage and power, with each episode taking an in-depth look at what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want." Paul will play Monaghan’s husband, Eddie Cleary, "a man with a wayward past who converts to a controversial movement. He suffers a crisis of faith when all that he’s come to accept as truth in his life is fundamentally challenged." The Way comes from Parenthood scribe and producer Jessie Goldberg, who will write and executive produce the series, and it is scheduled to debut this winter.

We'll be seeing a lot of Aaron Paul on the big screen in the next year or so. Paul has completed filming for Alexandre Aja's THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX, Gabriele Muccino's FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS, and Gavin Hood's EYE IN THE SKY, however all three films currently don't have release dates. But we do know John Hillcoat's crime drama TRIPLE 9 (which also stars Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet, Norman Reedus and Casey Affleck, just to name a few) will open on March 4, 2016, and Rawson Marshall Thurber's Dwayne Johnson-led action comedy CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE will hit theaters on June 17, 2016.
