I just about love Amy Adams and everything she does but even this might be too tough to handle. Adams has signed on to star in the period piece MISS PETTIGREW LIVES FOR A DAY. You just about had me sleeping at MISS PETTIGREW. Adams will co-star with Frances McDormand in the film that takes place in 1939 and follows a singer who befriends a “dowdy governess” who was….snooooooze. Bharat Nalluri, who’s previous directing credits include the “Tsunami” documentary for HBO, is directing for Focus Features. Luckily there’s more on the horizon for Adams fans like myself. She has ENCHANTED due this November where she stars as the latest Disney princess. She’s also got the indie comedy SUNSHINE CLEANING with Emily Blunt and CHARLIE WILSON’S WAR with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Not bad. Can we get some more of this in all of these movies?
