After Dark Originals: Another new still from Patrik Syversen’s Prowl

With the second quarter of 2010 firmly underway, After Dark, Lionsgate and the SyFy channel are really upping the ante with their awareness push for After Dark Originals. In the last week alone, we’ve seen one-sheets galore, for everything from the main event poster to RE-KILL HUSK, FERTLE GROUND, and even Patrik Syversen’s creature-feature PROWL. Hell, we’ve even seen a few stills from the latter effort. This is the part where you’re supposed to say…thank you sir, may I have another?!?

Yup, you sure may, ’cause that’s exactly what we have for you below. But before we jump into what said still depicts, let’s revisit the plotline of this bastard, shall we:

Amber dreams of escaping her small town and persuades her friends to accompany her apartment-hunting in the big city. When their transportation breaks down, Amber and friends gratefully accept a ride in the back of a semi. But when the driver refuses to stop and they discover the cargo is cartons of blood, they panic. Soon, panic turns to terror when the truck disgorges into a dark, abandoned warehouse where blood-thirsty creatures learn to hunt human prey, which the friends realize is what they have now become.

So what’s the image your about to scope deal with? Lemme just ask this: you enjoy seeing human beings covered in head to toe flames? Yes, you do? By all means then, get busy underneath. For those waiting to see such a sight in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET later this week, avoid at your own desire.
