I’ll admit that I was a little behind on the Neil Marshall front (I only caught THE DESCENT on DVD) but now that I’m on board, I’m driving the train. He’ll be one of those directors I’ll follow no matter what movie they’re on. His latest movie DOOMSDAY looks like an ass-kicking, post-apocalyptic monster of a movie and damn, I can’t wait!
The film opens on March 14th and takes place in a walled-in country where infected humans were quarantined and left to die after a viral outbreak. Trouble is some of them survived and now the government, desperate for a cure, needs to find out exactly how they survived. Enter Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra) who takes her team of soldiers past the wall and into a society that hasn’t seen the light of day in 30 years.
