THE ASTRONAUT'S WIFE (1999) – The Black Sheep
Johnny Depp was going mainstream in the mid/late '90s. Tag to that to a young Charlize Theron who was had just killed the screen in DEVILS ADVOCATE and you get a sure hit with THE ASTRONAUT'S WIFE right? Wrong. This big-budget genre film failed to ignite audiences and saw a pathetic return. Twenty-one years later, THE ASTRONAUT'S WIFE has been left in the past to be forgotten. Yet this slow-burn thriller has aged exceptionally well. Allow us to defend THE ASTRONAUT'S WIFE!
The film is about: After an explosion in space and subsequent two-minute radio-out period, two astronauts return home to their wives. Slightly it's revealed that they're not the same as they were.

FREDDY VS. JASON – WTF Happened to this Horror Movie
FREDDY VS. JASON was a mash-up of genre icons that fans had been hearing about for since the mid-1980s, but the film didn't hit the big screen until 2003.
