Alien: Covenant Ridley Scott

The ALIEN-like LIFE having stolen none of its thunder, director Ridley Scott's ALIEN prequel / PROMETHEUS sequel ALIEN: COVENANT is drawing ever closer to its theatrical release. The latest evidence of the Xenomorph's impending return to the big screen is a trio of TV spots which echo the advice a couple of the posters gave – "Run" and "Hide" – and also throw in "Pray" for good measure.

Written by John Logan, Dante Harper, Jack Paglen, and Michael Green, ALIEN: COVENANT has the following synopsis:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, Tess Haubrich, Uli Latukefu, James Franco, Noomi Rapace, and Guy Pearce star, with Andrew Crawford and Javier Botet providing Xenomorph performances.

ALIEN: COVENANT is scheduled for release on May 19th. The three TV spots have been assembled together in the video below, and the Xenomorph horror that can be glimpsed in them will help you pass a couple minutes of the wait for the full film.
