Aliens invade a family’s home in Exclusive clip from Dark Encounter

Earlier this month, we shared the trailer for writer/director Carl Strathie's alien abduction horror film DARK ENCOUNTER, which is heading toward a January 7th DVD release in the US (you can pick up a copy HERE). With the release just two weeks away, we have now gotten our hands on an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film.

Set in the 1980s, DARK ENCOUNTER is "a tense supernatural thriller that will get under your skin" while telling the following story:

A year after the mysterious disappearance of an 8 year-old girl, we meet her grieving family as they return home from her memorial service in their small town. Later that evening, strange lights appear in the night sky and the family is terrorised by otherworldly visitors that will lead the family to the truth behind the little girl’s disturbing disappearance.

The film stars Laura Fraser, Mel Raido, Sid Phoenix, Grant Masters, Spike White, Vincent Regan, Alice Lowe, and Nicholas Pinnock.

The creepy 2 minute clip we have embedded above is called "The Light", and it has the following description:

As Ray checks to see what's happening outside, an eerie light appears throughout the house revealing that the family is not alone.

The clip is followed by the film's trailer, so give it a look and if you like what you see head over to Amazon and pick up a copy.
