All time horror icons come to life in 9 new animated Sinister images

By most accounts, Scott Derrickson’s SINISTER is the one horror movie we all must see before the year ends. I mean, our man easy E doesn’t bestow the “modern day horror classic” on just any old flick, does he? With that, 9 new animated images from the chiller have arrived, each one riffing on a horror icon of yore. Freddy, Jason, Michael, Leatherface, Ghostface, Frankenstein and more…cop a peek underneath!

As for the film, it revolves around a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story who moves his family into a house where the horrific murder of an entire family took place. But after finding a box of home videos in which other families are also brutally murdered, his investigation leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.

Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance, James Ransone and Vincent D’Onofrio all appear in the movie, which opens in 10 days (Oct. 12th).
