PINEAPPLE EXPRESS seemed to be one of the movies of 2008 that really seemed to divide people. For every one (like me) who thought it was hilarious, there’s another person who thought it was way stupid. Now that it’s out on DVD and Blu-ray, I urge all the haters to give it another chance. The humor’s much more subtle than in Seth Rogen’s other films so I think that gave people pause the first time.

While you’re watching the DVD you can check out this alternate ending for the film. Had the film truly ended this way I think I would have been slightly disappointed though not entirely surprised. Make sure you stay all the way through to the end… Thanks to Videogum for the heads up.
