Last month we scalped y’all mofos with a new poster, trailer and clutch of photos for Adam Wingard’s low-budget horror flick A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE…remember that? Well, in the wake of an impressive TIFF screening, Deadline is reporting Anchor Bay has secured the English language rights to the U.K. ditty.

Acquired a mere 3 days after premiering, Anchor Bay now has the rights to show the film in territories that include Canada, U.S., U.K. and Australia. Part of the deal includes the film being released theatrically, but no date has been set thus far.

Starring AJ Bowen, Joe Swanberg, Amy Seimetz, Brandon Carroll and Lane Hughes – HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE centers on an escaped murderer is in pursuit of his ex-girlfriend, who has fled to start a new life in a small town.
