It’s pretty hard for me to get excited these days that isn’t Pixar or Muppet related, and I have to say, THE SMURFS just isn’t doing it for me.
There’s a brand new trailer out for the film, which features the little buggers annoying the hell out of Neil Patrick Harris. I found it funny that his reactions were exactly the same as mine when I watched the trailer, “stop saying Smurf for everything!” “that song is so annoying!”

I don’t know. Between Garfield, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Yogi Bear and many, many more, I can’t remember live action ever being paired with animation to make an effective kids movie in recent memory. Please point out a glaringly obvious example I’m missing, or just watch the trailer below via Yahoo!.
