Army of the Dead: Zack Snyder’s zombie action film infects Netflix May 21st

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Netflix has just revealed that Zack Snyder's upcoming zombie action-heist flick Army of the Dead will be streaming on the platform May 21st. They've even unleashed a new, stylish poster for the film ahead of its release, which you can see for yourself at the bottom of the article!

Here's the official synopsis:

Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Meanwhile, Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone, and Michael Cassidy.

So what do you guys think? Personally, not really feeling it, as I've become less enamoured with Snyder's whole aesthetic and worldview, but I did enjoy Dawn of the Dead at the time (though haven't revisited it in years), so maybe I just prefer Snyder's non-cape movies? Either way, sound off below!
