Back at the end of October I told you all about some casting news with site favourite man Sly Stallone. He signed on for THE TOMB, a film that has been in limbo for quite some time having been passed to Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, with Antonie Fuqua at one point attached.
Well now it seems that Arnie may star in the film after all, no word on what role he’ll play though, but he is in negotionations. It’d be pretty cool to see Arnie and Sly opposite each other in something other than THE EXPENDABLES. The film will come to us from Summit, and currently has no director attached, but I am sure with Sly and possibly Arnie on board they should be able to find someone pretty quickly.
Synopsis: The story follows Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security — specifically prisons. His skills are put to the test when he is framed and put in a high-security prison of his own design and must find the person who put him there.
Next up for Sly, he has BULLET TO THE HEAD, yes the film that Tom Jane got booted from. Arnie has THE LAST STAND from director Jee-woon Kim, and that is one I simply can’t wait for!
