A little while ago, we showed you some blurry spy character one-sheets for the upcoming Joe Wright directed period drama ATONEMENT. Sensing our need, Focus Features recently provided us with said posters.
Based on the acclaimed Ian McEwan novel of the same name, the story, set against the backdrop of World War II, centers on a young girl (played by Saoirse Ronan at 13 and Romola Garai at 18) who must deal with the dire consequences of wrongly accusing her sister’s (Keira Knightley) lover (James McCavoy) of a serious offense.
If the buzz on this flick is to be believed, it’s sure to rack up award nods like Britney Spears racks up parental neglect citations. It opens December 7th in limited release.
