Sadly they’re from AVATAR the game and not AVATAR the movie. But anything AVATAR is worth looking at at this point! James Cameron was on hand at E3 yesterday and took part in Ubisoft’s presentation where he explained that he knew video games based on movies suck and he didn’t want anything associated with AVATAR to suck. So he worked with Ubisoft and Weta to create a sort of spinoff/prequel type game that will use the environment but allow gamers to play without spoiling the movie. Will it work? If anyone can pull it off, it’s Cameron. Here are three new pics from the game, which just make me yearn even harder for some love from the film itself…
