The first good look at Vin Diesel’s return to genre BABYLON A.D. has arrived, and it’s pretty slick. The futuristic tale from Mathieu Kassovitz (LA HAINE, GOTHIKA) is a road movie following a mercenary hired to escort a unique woman (she’s missile-resistant!) to New York, a task that requires copious gunfire, car chases and eXtreme skimobiling.

The film’s setting looks a bit cleaner and more hi-tech than I expected, and they’re still abusing the same goddamn REQUIEM FOR A DREAM theme music from about seven hundred other trailers, but it’s nice to see Diesel and Michelle Yeoh cracking some heads again. Check it in HD at IGN!
