Badass new Expendables interview & posters give us explosive Sly Stallone!

It appears Lionsgate has just unveiled a couple of new posters for Sly Stallone’s geriatric action flick THE EXPENDABLES, one international, one universal. The first, which gives us a gruff close-up of Sly chomping on a stogey and rockin’ a pair of bomber goggles…the second boasting the indelible image of a crow perched a skull. I dig them both well enough, but frankly don’t need a whole lot more to wanna see this sucker as soon as it comes out. Nah’mean?!?

And speaking of seeing the sumbitch, our man The Arrow was lucky enough to catch an early screening of the film last week. While I haven’t read his review in full, I can tell he had an awesome time with it and will definitely be giving the flick a ringing endorsement. So stay tuned for that.

But that’s not all! It seems a badass new interview with Sly Stallone himself over at the EXPENDABLES official Youtube channel has been released…and you’re gonna need to take a look at this. Sly ain’t fuckin’ around…in fact dude’s blowing up everything in sight (or should I say site?) CHECK THAT SHITE OUT RIGHT HERE!

Detonating theaters August 13th – THE EXPENDABLES follows Barney Ross (Stallone), a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the leader, the sage and the strategist of this tight-knit band of men who live on the fringe. His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern-day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as removing those hard to get at stains. The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas, former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang, a master at close-quarter combat; Hale Caesar, who has known Barney for ten years and is a long-barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road, a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen, a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons.
