Yesterday we got to check out some pictures on the BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE set that confirmed Zack Snyder was shooting the scene where 2/3 of the Wayne family meet their demise. While shooting continues in The Windy City, Chicago native Mike Eisenberg took to Twitter to confirm that IMAX cameras were in use for the pivotal scene, as well as outlining some troubles production was having in regards to adapting them to the colder weather.

With the news that J.J. Abrams' STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS had a scene shot in IMAX, and Christopher Nolan championing the format, I'm curious to see if more of these epic films will take advantage of it. As anyone who has seen INTERSTELLAR or MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL in IMAX can attest to, it makes the difference!

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will be released on March 25, 2016.
