Bauer is back!

Here’s an interesting little item: Back in the 80s and 90s there was s scream queen named Michelle Bauer, who I certainly remember but maybe you don’t (fans of Joe Bob Briggs will know who she is). She wasn’t a scream queen like say, Jamie Lee Curtis. No, this lady put her LIFE into screaming, starring in around 100 direct-to-late night cable or video flicks. Some titles that may ring a bell or two: EVIL TOONS, NIGHTMARE SISTERS, DINOSAUR ISLAND, and the ever amazing

SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA
. Yes that’s the name of a movie, and yes I’ve seen it more than once.

Apparently she shot a flick entitled BLACK REIGN in the early 90s that either never got released or came out under a different name. Whatever the case, Michelle has come out of retirement (is there a retirement home in Florida for 80s horror chicks?) to film brand new scenes that will be thrust into the existing movie. In addition, a new ending is being whipped up.

Pretty intriguing, if not odd. I wonder how this footage will match to the stuff shot well over a decade ago. I’m sure we’ll hear more about this soon – at least I’m hoping so! – so we’ll keep you cheese-lovin’
horror fiends updated as we learn more!
