If you missed the tail end of Mike’s story on the trailer premiere of NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS then you missed his mentioning that the trailer for the hip Anne Hathaway-starring biopic BECOMING JANE also premiered today on Yahoo Movies. No worries, though. That’s why I’m here. The Jane in the film’s title is, of course, Jane Austen and the film tells of her own romantic story that didn’t actually happen but it could have happened. And isn’t that what Hollywood is really all about? Inventing stories about famed English authors that mirror the stories they wrote about that hopefully the tween crowd finds hip enough to spend a buttload of their parent’s cash on? Click on Hathaway’s luscious hair to check out the trailer. The flick opens August 3rd.
