Beginner’s Greek scribes

JoBloJoBlo

I have a lot of friends that simply shrug when I ask them if they’re excited for the upcoming 500 DAYS OF SUMMER.

Me: Really?? You don’t know what that is? Them: Sorry Dan. We don’t all write for the Internet. Me: Wow chico! Well, when this movie is released, and everyone you know will be talking about it, don’t come crying back to me!. Them: I slept with your father.

Anyways, the 500 DAYS OF SUMMER scribes–Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber–are probably some of the hottest men in Hollywood, so it’s quite notable that they’ve signed on to adapt James Collins‘ novel “Beginner’s Greek”. The book is about a diminutive banker who meets a girl on the plane, loses her number. and then discovers that his best friend has married her. It doesn’t sound like much, but the book has been getting raves, 500 DAYS OF SUMMER will be the sleeper hit of the summer, and the lead role in BEGINNER’S GREEK just became the most coveted role in Hollywood.
