Bella Thorne will lead a home invasion for Shane Dax Taylor’s Masquerade

Bella Thorne first gained popularity when she was starring on a Disney Channel show, but in recent years she has seemed to be determined to work on as many horror and thriller projects as possible. Her streak is now set to continue with writer/director Shane Dax Taylor's MASQUERADE.

In this thriller, Thorne will play a character who leads her cohorts in a home invasion.

Alyvia Alyn Lind of the Netflix show Daybreak will star in MASQUERADE as

11-year-old Casey, who must survive the night after a group of intruders, led by Rose (Thorne), break into her family’s home to steal priceless artwork. The thieves will stop at nothing to get what they want, with shocking developments.

Skyler Samuels will play a character that pulls off the home invasion with Thorne's Rose, while Austin Nichols and Mircea Monroe are on board to play Casey's parents.

Taylor is producing MASQUERADE with Steven Schneider and Kenneth Burke. Stuart Manashil, Joe Heath, Corky Taylor, Ron Kirchhoff, Jeff Walz, Brian Dahlin, Roman Terrill, Raja Collins, and John Lind serve as executive producers.

A home invasion is always a good, troubling set-up for a thriller, so I look forward to seeing how MASQUERADE will turn out.
