Welcome, loyal JoBlo readers! This is Best Movie and TV Trailers of the Week, where we take the very best previews we saw over the long week and compile them all in one spot for you, just in case you were out and about navigating this mad, mad, mad world that is life. We’re nice like that.
This week we got two new trailers for movies from directors who haven’t released anything since 2013: ROMA from Alfonso Cuaron and WIDOWS from Steve McQueen. Their last movies, GRAVITY and 12 YEARS A SLAVE went head-to-head for Best Picture in 2014, but it looks like ROMA may be the only one of the two that could get some serious Oscar attention this time. The first trailer is absolutely stunning, teasing yet another marvelous outing from Cuaron.
In the TV world, we got some solid new trailers from the world of Disney, with new trailers for Marvel’s IRON FIST season two and the STAR WARS RESISTANCE. On top of that, we got a new look at John Krasinski in Amazon’s JACK RYAN show as well as the star-studded series THE ROMANOFFS.
