Better look @ Freddy

At this point, it’s not a huge secret that Freddy Krueger in the new NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET is a different looking dude than the one we’ve been used to. When I was on the set earlier this summer, I was actually quite surprised by the design (I must thread carefully as I don’t want to break embargo) – but I wasn’t at all turned off. It’s a bit silly to expect the same exact thing from the remake, isn’t it? Wouldn’t be a remake otherwise. (Whether or not it should be remade at all is, at this point, negligible.)

Earlier today, we showed you a few new stills from the flick, and now I bring you a slightly better look at Krueger’s new face. Still not very clear – in fact, THIS gives you a more accurate idea of Freddy’s new visage. (Yes, it’s pretty damn close.)

I’m sure before the film comes out on APRIL 30th, 2010, the surprise factor will be nil.
