Though this news may be ancient by interweb standards, we’ve yet to report on it and there still may be one or two of you who haven’t heard that George Lucas’ upcoming “Star Wars: Clone Wars” animated TV show will be making a theatrical debut on August 15th. Weekly half-hour episodes will then follow with the debut episode premiering on the Cartoon Network and subsequent airings on TNT (goddamn, this thing is all over the place!). The story, as you may recall, takes place between ATTACK OF THE CLONES and REVENGE OF THE SITH and follows young Skywalker as he and Obi-Wan attempt to thwart the plans of the nefarious Count Dooku using the titular army.
