The sensation that is BIRDEMIC is not going away any time soon. After a few successful screenings in LA and NYC (one of which I attended), it’s ready to fly off and infect the rest of the country with its laughably awkward, terribly edited, horribly acted, ineptly made self. Beginning on APRIL 16th in LA, the film is scheduled to tour the U.S., stopping off in cities like Denver, Detroit, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, and more! To see the full theaters listing, head on over HERE.

BIRDEMIC, described by James Nguyen as “a romantic thriller,” is a horror/action/special-effects-driven love story about a young couple trapped in a small Northern California town under siege by homicidal birds. BIRDEMIC also tackles topical issues of global warming, avian flu, world peace, organic living, sexual promiscuity and lavatory access.

What that synopsis doesn’t mention is that it’s also about being so unbelievably unaware of its own awfulness that it brings together a crowd in a most entertaining way. Even the official site is still a paltry, pitiful creation. But dammit, that’s where the charm lies…

So tell us – is BIRDEMIC coming to your town? If so, you gonna check it out?
