Black Adam character posters arrive before a brand-new trailer drop on Thursday

DC’s Black Adam touches down in theaters next month, marking the long-awaited arrival of Dwayne Johnson’s antihero with attitude. A lot is riding on the film’s release, and DC is sparing no expense in promoting one of the last bullets in the studio’s chamber before restructuring the DCEU from top to bottom. Thus, we have a collection of Black Adam character posters to enjoy, featuring the film’s exciting pantheon of heroes.

DC unleashed the new Black Adam character posters at a new trailer event on Wednesday, with the trailer’s release scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday). The new Black Adam character posters feature a dramatic look at Johnson as Black Adam alongside members of the JSA, including Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone.

Here’s the official synopsis for DC’s Black Adam:

Born out of rage and Unique among the DC Super Heroes for his unconventional, uncompromising nature, Black Adam is fueled by the depths of his pain to avenge his family. Only the Justice Society can stop him, but only Black Adam can save the world.

Black Adam‘s October release marks the delivery of a long-gestating passion project for Dwayne Johnson, who wanted to bring Black Adam to theaters for several years. The film introduces audiences to Black Adam and features iconic members of the Justice Society of America. Jaume Collet-Serra directs, with Johnson joined by Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Noah Centineo, Viola Davis, and more.

The new Black Adam character posters present a great look at the heroes of the upcoming film. I’m not sure who signed off on the framing of each character, but they clearly had a vision. What excites me the most about Black Adam is the introduction of the Justice Society of America and several new characters in the DCEU. It’s been a hot minute since DC welcomed new blood into their universe, and some unfamiliar faces can go a long way in making fans happy with the studio’s next effort.

What do you think of the new Black Adam character posters? Who are you looking forward to meeting the most when Black Adam strikes theaters on October 21?
