DC’s Black Adam touches down in theaters next month, marking the long-awaited arrival of Dwayne Johnson’s antihero with attitude. DC unleashed the new Black Adam character posters at a new trailer event on Wednesday, with the trailer’s release scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday). The new Black Adam character posters feature a dramatic look at Johnson as Black Adam alongside members of the JSA, including Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone.

Black Adam‘s October release marks the delivery of a long-gestating passion project for Dwayne Johnson, who wanted to bring Black Adam to theaters for several years. The film introduces audiences to Black Adam and features iconic members of the Justice Society of America. Jaume Collet-Serra directs, with Johnson joined by Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Noah Centineo, Viola Davis, and more.
The new Black Adam character posters present a great look at the heroes of the upcoming film. I’m not sure who signed off on the framing of each character, but they clearly had a vision. What excites me the most about Black Adam is the introduction of the Justice Society of America and several new characters in the DCEU. It’s been a hot minute since DC welcomed new blood into their universe, and some unfamiliar faces can go a long way in making fans happy with the studio’s next effort.
