Jack Black has recently signed on to star and produce the mockumentary comedy THE LOST ADVENTURES OF STONE PERLMUTTER JR. Coming from in demand up and coming newbie scribes Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory, the film takes the form of recently discovered documentary footage of the titular Indiana Jones type explorer, who Black plays, and his undoubtedly hilariously inept adventures attempting to locate urban myths such as Yeti, El Dorado and the lost tomb of Jesus. Black has a ton of projects coming up, including the Noah Baumbach comedy MARGOT AT THE WEDDING, the Michel Gondry comedy BE KIND REWIND, voice work in the upcoming animated KUNG FU PANDA and some hijinks-based work in the Ben Stiller starring comedy TROPIC THUNDER.
