Black Panther 2: Marvel shoots down Chadwick Boseman digital double rumour

In the months since Chadwick Boseman's tragic death, many have wondered where exactly that leaves BLACK PANTHER 2. Some thought maybe  Marvel would be using a digital double, similar to what Universal did when Paul Walker passed away in the middle of shooting FURIOUS 7, or what Disney did when Carrie Fisher died after the release of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. However, in a recent interview with Argentinian outlet Clarin, excerpted and translated by The Wrap, a digital double has never been in the cards for the upcoming sequel. Marvel Studios EVP Vicotria Alonso told the outlet, “No. There’s only one Chadwick and he’s not with us."

She added:

“Our king, unfortunately, has died in real life, not just in fiction, and we are taking a little time to see how we return to history and what we do to honor this chapter of what has happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible, really.”

So there you have it. How do you think Marvel should proceed with the franchise that means so much to so many people, while still paying tribute to Boseman? As far as I'm concerned there's only one T'Challa, although that doesn't mean someone can't take up the BLACK PANTHER mantle.
