Mark Heyman, one of the three writers on BLACK SWAN and a one-time assistant to Darren Aronofsky, has just jumped aboard the LORD OF THE FLIES-esque sci-fi tale AGE OF RAGE, which is set up at SWAN’s studio, Fox Searchlight.

The tale, described as a sophisticated sci-fi project, is set in a post-apocalyptic society where all the adults have died and a group of teens sets about trying to establish a new society.

Marc Webb, who is currently directing the SPIDER-MAN reboot for Sony, came up with the idea and seems likely to helm the feature after he’s done with the web-slinger.

Heyman is also writing MACHINE MAN, which might be Aronofsky’s post-WOLVERINE gig.
