Timur Bekmembetov’s adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER has been all quiet on the marketing front as of late, so it’s nice to get such a bloody good treat today in the form of a red-band trailer for the action/horror flick.
Starring Benjamin Walker (as ol’ honest Abe), Dominick Cooper, Rufus Sewell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Alan Tudyk, and Anthony Mackie, the historical fiction tale looks to be a riot. But, you’re here for the gore, yes?
Get bloody:
This is one I keep forgetting about, but not in an “AMAZING SPIDER-MAN” kind of way, but a, “Oh, shit, I forgot that’s coming out…f*ck yeah!” kind of way. I know there has been a weak reception to some audiences who simply can’t suspend disbelief enough to buy it, but my tongue is planted firmly in cheek and I’m looking for nothing more than a bloody good time at the movies. I don’t expect this to be a contender at next years Oscars.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER starts lopping off heads on June 22, 2012.
