Breaking Dawn, the “crazy” Twilight entry, could begin shooting this Fall

Yes, I will see BREAKING DAWN.

I have not, and likely will not see NEW MOON, and I certainly have no plans to see ECLIPSE when it comes out in June, but I will take a gander at the utterly hilarious-sounding BREAKING DAWN when it comes out. Devin over at Chud.com wrote a wonderful article a little while ago detailing the book’s inspired lunacy, and I absolutely agree that it might just be worth all the TWILIGHT bullshit to see this monstrosity on the big screen.

Seriously, the book is about (SPOILER ALERT) Jacob (Taylor Lautner) falling in love with the unholy freak baby of Edward and Bella. Sure, it’s about other stuff too, but that’s the main hook. We’re talking he’s in love with it. Yes, I will see this movie.

According to producer Wyck Godfrey, the folks at Summit are still trying to tackle the story’s absurd length. (750 pages? Really?)
“It’s a work in process.
Godfrey tells the L.A. Times. “The issue [of whether there will be one or two movies] is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it’s organic. If it’s not organic, I don’t think it will be done, and if it is, it will be.”

The article states that Godfrey and his team still don’t know how they’ll solve the book’s weird character of “Renesmee” (Jacob’s soul-mate/a f*cking baby!), but production is definitely expected to kick off this autumn in Vancouver. To read the whole thing, head on over HERE.
