Damn, I love it when co-ed beauties meet graphic horror. Too bad SORORITY ROW & JENNIFER’S BODY didn’t seem to live up to their potential. Well, hopefully Jamie Babitt’s new flick BREAKING THE GIRL can get back on the path of halcyon sleaze of say, SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE. Will it though, who knows?!?
With cuties Amanda Crew (THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT, FINAL DESTINATION 3) and Adrianne Palicki (SEVEN MUMMIES, RED DAWN) set to board, BREAKING THE GIRL is about:
Two attractive college students – the innocent and scholarly Sara and the manipulative and sexy Alex, who become more than friends when they make a pact to kill off each other’s nemesis. But Alex soon grabs the upper hand and Sara discovers she is being set up for murder.
Ah yeah, chicks killing, double-crossing, partaking in all things sordid – all my chips are in the middle. You?
Written by Mark Distefano (who might know a thing or two about the subject matter given his only other screen credit came via FRIENDS AND ENEMIES) and Guinevere Turner (AMERICAN PSYCHO) – BREAKING THE GIRL holds a roiled 2011 release date.
The project is set up at Myriad Pictures.
