Only two weeks ago we learned Katee Sackhoff had won a starring role in OCULUS, Mike Flanagan’s haunted mirror movie for Intrepid Pictures. At the time, only Karen Gillan (below) was attached to star as well, but now, according to Variety, a spate of other actors are too set to get their vanity on. Scope it…

Word is Aussie actor Brenton Thwaites and the great Rory Cochrane (are you cool, man?, seen right)) have joined OCULUS, currently filming in Mobile, Alabama. Annalise Basso and Garrett Ryan are also in the cast as the younger versions of the lead characters. Lafferty and Miguel Sandoval also star.

OCULUS centers on a murder that left two children orphans with authorities charging the brother while his sister believed that the true culprit was a haunted antique mirror. Now completely rehabilitated and in his twenties, the brother is ready to move on but his sister is determined to prove that the haunted mirror was responsible for destroying their family.

Film District picked up OCULUS back in May, hopefully we’ll get a release date as soon as the flick wraps.
