Brian Tyree Henry will be seen taking on Chucky the killer doll in the CHILD'S PLAY remake later this month, but before that movie is even out he may have already closed a deal to make another genre movie.

Henry is in negotiations to play a role in A QUIET PLACE 2.

John Krasinski is writing and directing the film. They're being secretive about this one, there's no word on what the plot may be and no details available on the character Henry will be playing.

A QUIET PLACE followed

a family that has to live in complete silence, otherwise creatures will hunt them.

The first film's stars Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are already signed on to return for the sequel, with new addition Cillian Murphy set to join them.

The CHILD'S PLAY remake will be in theatres on June 21st. A QUIET PLACE 2 is heading toward a March 20, 2020 release.

Henry is also in the JOKER movie, and in GODZILLA VS. KONG. I'd say his career is going very well.
