Y’all recall a nasty no-budget British zombie flick called COLIN?
Anyone?
Allow us to offer a refresher. When we say no-budget, we’re not talking about a PARANORMAL ACTIVITY micro-budget…oh no. We’re talking about a bunch of dudes who threw together a feature film for all of 70 bucks, give or take a pint-cost or two. This sucker ringin’ any bells?!?
Still nothing? Damn. Can’t really blame you, the last time it seems we wrote about the flick came back in July of ’09, when Mr. Mike “I sell books now so leave me alone” Catalano gave you a dose of the films trailer (revisit that sucker below). Any way you dice it, COLIN finally arrives on DVD in North America this October 19th.
Written and directed by Marc Price:
Our hero COLIN is bitten by a zombie; he dies and returns as one of the undead. We follow him as he wanders through suburbia during the throes of a cadaverous apocalypse. Through his encounters with objects, places and people, we learn who Colin was and more pertinently, what he has now become. Including a broad daylight zombie versus human street battle, an epic housebound siege and bags of gore. Colin is the must see Zombie phenomenon.
Alastair Kirton, Daisy Aitkens (below), Kate Alderman, Leanne Pammen, Tat Whalley, Kerry Owen, Leigh Crocombe and Rami Hilmi all take part in the film.
