Deadline has learned that Bryan Cranston and Mila Kunis are attached to star in JACKPOT, a remake of Magnus Martens' 2011 Norwegian action comedy. Jennifer Garner is also in talks to join the film, which may also star Armie Hammer. The site previously reported that Hammer had been added to the cast of the movie, but now there is no mention of the actor in the article.

The original film is based on a story by The Headhunters author Jo Nesbo, and is about "a man who wakes up in a strip bar clutching a shotgun surrounded by dead men and police guns aimed at him." Production is set to begin this summer with Will Gluck (ANNIE, EASY A) behind the camera, and he'll be directing from a script by THE EXPENDABLES scribe Dave Callaham.

Cranston's upcoming movies include Brad Furman's THE INFILTRATOR, James Franco's IN DUBIOUS BATTLE and John Hamburg's WHY HIM?, while Kunis can be seen next on the big screen in BAD MOMS on July 29, 2016.
