After the success of the documentary MURDERBALL and THE ARISTOCRATS (not the joke, folks), THINKFilm is branching out to include Alexander Bulkley’s ZODIAC.

In a press release we received today, THINKFilm has announced a limited theatrical release for the film based on the real-life gruesome murders in the Bay Area in the late 1960s committed by the man known only as ‘The Zodiac’. Just to point out, this is not the same film David Fincher is working on. Same premise, similar title, but different actors and different releases (Fincher is still filming with Robert Downey Jr. and Gary Oldman starring). Back to Bulkley’s ZODIAC, the film will open March 17th in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta theaters, and stars Justin Chambers (‘Grey’s Anatomy’), Robin Tunney (‘Prison Break’), Rory Culkin (SIGNS) and Philip Baker Hall (BOOGIE NIGHTS). Expect the film to hit DVD August of this year.

In the film, a small town cop (Justin Chambers) and his son (Rory Culkin) become obsessed with the Zodiac killer, endangering their family in the midst of the explosive media frenzy surrounding one of the most notorious and elusive serial killers in American history. Hit up the website below for more info on the film, as well as the Zodiac himself!
