The easiest thing to do when watching the first full
trailer for BURLESQUE
is to compare it to similar films (and flops) like GLITTER starring Mariah
Carey and SHOWGIRLS starring a whole lotta people who’d rather not be
named. That said, I’m taking the easy way out today as nothing in the
trailer impressed me more than a typical Christina Aguilera music video,
least of all, Cher, who seems to be acting…but acting like Cher and
not a character. Of course, Aguilera doesn’t exactly break new ground
herself as she too starts to belt out a song about halfway through her
"acting debut". Check it out for yourself below and let us know
what you think. The film opens wide on November 24th, 2010.
