Back in October, we gave you a peek at the AFM artwork for Carlos Brook’s deadly tiger picture BURNING BRIGHT (you’re looking at it to the right). Well, a lot can change in six months, as evidenced in a recent title change for the film. You see, Carlos’ sophomore feature is now to be referred to as, wait for it…RAVENOUS. Ooh, I wonder what Antonia Bird’s gonna think of that!

With script credit given to Christine Coyle Johnson and Julie Prendiville Roux, RAVENOUS is A thriller centered on a young woman and her autistic little brother who are trapped in a house with a ravenous tiger during a hurricane.

Nice way to skirt a PC kerfuffle. Instead of having a human wreak havoc on an autistic child, by using a wild animal, you can simply chalk it up to the tiger’s indiscriminant primal urge. Of course, opting for the use of a real tiger instead of lame ass CGI makes the project that much more intriguing. Nice work, Mr. Brooks. Nice work indeed!

Horror hottie Briana Evigan (below) headlines the film, doing so alongside Garrett Dillahunt, Meatloaf, Charlie Tehan, Mary Rachel Dudley and Peggy Sheffield.
